Our Story

The staff from Balance Physiotherapy, a neurophysiotherapy clinic in Toronto, Canada at a staff bonding pickleball event.

Balance Physiotherapy was established in 2004 by David Frake and Lorraine Spekkens. Having worked as neurological physiotherapists at Lyndhurst Hospital, they recognized the need for neuro-based specialized care in the Toronto area. With the core values of providing compassionate, client-centered care, the clinic has grown from 2 physiotherapists to one of the largest neurological physiotherapy clinics in the region.

Balance Physiotherapy has helped hundreds of clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. Under the leadership of experienced physiotherapists, Silvia Guido and Tracy Tan, Balance Physiotherapy will continue to assist clients with their physical recovery and maintain the high level of professional care provided to all clients.
