Alyssa Won

Alyssa completed a Bachelor of Arts with Specialized Honours in Kinesiology & Health Science at York University in 2023. She recently completed her Master's in Professional Kinesiology at the University of Toronto with a concentration in 'Exercise as Medicine,' where she focused on using physical activity to prevent, manage and improve different health conditions. During her graduate studies, Alyssa had completed two major research projects and presentations focusing on using current literature to design exercise programs to help manage symptoms for Parkinson's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis. Through previous work and clinical placements, she gained hands-on experience working with individuals living with Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and stroke, further strengthening her knowledge in neurological rehabilitation.
Alyssa is committed to providing holistic, evidence-based, patient-centred care tailored to each individual’s goals and needs. She values building connections with her patients through open communication and collaboration. She is passionate about exercise and strives to help individuals improve their confidence, strength, mobility, and independence.
In her spare time, Alyssa enjoys both playing and watching basketball- especially if it's the Toronto Raptors. She also enjoys weightlifting, dancing, reading, and spending time with her loved ones.
