She competed in archery for many years and represented Canada at several international competitions including World Cups, Pan Am Games, and World Championships. Through her involvement in sport, Vanessa developed an interest in physiotherapy.
Vanessa's approach to physiotherapy is based in the current literature but she is also heavily reliant on listening to the client's individual feedback and goals. Throughout her education and work experience, Vanessa has worked with clients with a wide variety of complex neurological and orthopedic conditions. She is certified in Neurofunctional Acupuncture from the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program.
In her spare time, she enjoys eating, playing golf, and staying home with her cat. Vanessa is fluent in both English and Korean.
